Abstract

Sănătatea orală este un indicator al sănătății generale. Unele afecțiuni sistemice, diabetul, maladiile renale, cele cardiovasculare se pot accentua în condițiile afecțiunilor bucale. Pandemia Covid-19 a minimalizat și restricționat serviciile stomatologice, inclusiv tratamentele stomatologice preventive. Aceasta a condus la majorarea solicitărilor și programelor în perioada post-Covid-19 și necesitatea intensificării serviciului stomatologic din țară.
