Some aspects of the modern internal medicine

Abstract

The article is about some aspects of practical medicine in relation to health care reform in Moldova, especially the transition to primary care by family physicians, as well as phenomenon of specialization and supraspecialization in internal medicine under technical progress. It highlights some positive and negative consequences of these processes, first of all, lack of proper internist in the territory and even in some hospitals. The proposals are to adapt programs and methods of training doctors at university and residency stage under continuing supraspecialization and technical progress in medicine.
