Comorbidities as a challenge in the diagnosis and treatment of tuberculosis

The article provides an overview of data from international and national sources of scientific and practical literature on the problem of comorbidity in pulmonary tuberculosis and other socially significant diseases. Important components of the review were the sections on the combination of pulmonary tuberculosis with HIV infection, diabetes, alcoholism, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), etc. It was shown that concomitant pathology aggravates the clinical picture of the underlying disease, reduces the effectiveness of diagnosis and treatment and often leads to a chronic evolutionDownloads
