Characteristics of nosepharyngeal carcinomas

Introduction. Nasopharyngeal carcinomas have both clinical diagnostic and treatment peculiarities, as well as epidemiological, morphological, etc. Tumors develop from the erythematous epithelium, which, under the influence of various factors, becomes malignant. Nasopharyngeal carcinoma has a relatively rare frequency – 4% of oncological pathology of ENT organs and 1,0% of all malignant tumors. Predominantly, adenocarcinoma cancer is attested - 85%, lymphoid tumors9%, sarcomas - about 2%, and others.The purpose of the paper – Highlighting the clinical, diagnostic, and treatment peculiarities of nasopharyngeal cancers. Material and methods. Analysis of national and international specialized thematic bibliographic sources and observation sheets of patients with nasopharyngeal cancer undergoing specialized oncological treatments in specialized institutions for 5 years.
