Abstract

Aim of the study. To study and establish the correlation between LH, T, FSH, AMH in PCOS and their impact on surgical treatment of PCOS. Material and methods. 138 clinical cases of patients selected according to the Rotterdam criteria regarding PCOS, who were admitted to the Aseptic Gynecology Department No. 1 of the Municipal Clinical Hospital No. 1 in the city of Chisinau, were analyzed. Each patient had a hormonal investigation before/after surgery to assess the impact of surgery on the change in the patient’s hormonal status. Results. The analysis showed that there is a strong correlation between LH, T, FSH, AMH in PCOS and that surgery contributes to changing the hormonal status of the patient with PCOS. Conclusion. The hormonal level has an impact on the impact of the surgical intervention.
