Abstract

Introduction. Improvement of the treatment quality in polytrauma patients remains an actual problem of modern medicine. Aim. To assess the effectiveness of providing medical care to victims of road traffic accidents (RTA). Material and methods. Treatment analysis of 210 patients with multiple and associated trauma who were admitted to the Institute of Emergency Medicine in 2009-2019 was conducted. Results. The introduction of minimally invasive surgical procedures has made it possible to achieve success in the treatment of victims after antraffic accident. Conclusions. Performing of the standards for emergency care in severe patients aftertraffic road accidents helps to improve the quality of treatment.
