Subclinical pulmonary thromboembolism in the context of cardiovascular pathology: a case report

The aim of the study was to present a case of a 72-year-old man with pulmonary thromboembolism in the context of cardiovascular pathology. This case report highlights the importance of early diagnosis and treatment to prevent fatal outcomes. Identifying pulmonary thromboembolism in cases of cardiovascular pathology can be challenging due to overlapping symptoms, the influence of treatment on diagnostic tests, and difficulties in interpreting imaging investigations.
