Dear colleagues, distinguished professors, researchers, physicians, pharmacists, students, and alumni,
On this beautiful anniversary—the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Nicolae Testemițanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy of the Republic of Moldova—I extend my sincere and warm congratulations to the entire academic, scientific, and professional community who, through perseverance, dedicated work, and commitment, have contributed to the development and strengthening of our institution’s prestige.

This event marks not only a historical milestone, but also a reaffirmation of the University’s indisputable value—a leading institution of higher education in our country and a model of tradition, quality, excellence, innovation, and devotion to the ideals of the profession.

Over the past eight decades, Nicolae Testemițanu USMF has trained more than 51,000 healthcare professionals who have promoted with dignity the name of their Alma Mater at home and around the world. We have built a national medical school grounded in scientific evidence, solid training, a humanistic spirit, and social responsibility.

With profound gratitude, we acknowledge the contribution of all those who have built, supported, and continue to develop our university: founders, professors, researchers, clinicians, alumni, and national and international partners.

Today, more than ever, we are called upon to preserve the spiritual and scientific heritage of our predecessors, to strengthen academic prestige, to innovate the educational process, and to orient research and medical practice toward progress and the well-being of society.
