Abstract

With deep respect and profound gratitude, we extend our most sincere congratulations to the faculty, researchers, physicians, residents, and students of the Nicolae Testemițanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy on the occasion of a venerable anniversary-the 80th anniversary of the founding of this institution fundamental to medical science and the health of the nation. For eight decades, Nicolae Testemițanu USMF has been not only a stronghold of higher medical education, but also a center of excellence in scientific research, biomedical innovation, continuing professional development, and the promotion of humanistic values in medical practice. This anniversary provides an opportunity to honor the memory of those who laid the foundations of the national medical school in times of trial, as well as those who, generation after generation, have built the institution’s prestige with dedication, intellect, and sacrifice. With every graduating class, every valuable scientific contribution, and every life saved, the University fulfills its noble mission in the service of life. Today, the University is recognized nationally and internationally for its high academic standards, its extensive network of scientific collaborations, and its active role in strengthening the healthcare system of the Republic of Moldova. In this jubilee context, we wish to express the appreciation and gratitude of the academic and scientific community to all generations who have shaped the destiny of this institution.
