Purpose. Analysis of the results of treatment of patients with injuries of abdominal organs complicated by secondaryperitonitisIntroduction. Posttraumatic peritonitis is one of the most dangerous complications of abdominal injuries, characterized by difficulties in early diagnosis, treatment and high mortality. Material and methods. We present an analysis of 38 patients with post-traumatic peritonitis treated at the Institute of Emergency Medicine in the period 2020-2024. Clinical examination of patients was performed taking into account hemodynamic stability. All victims received medical care and underwent a complex medical examination. Results. The analysis of the etiology of the lesions, skeletal damage, intra-abdominal organs and the causes of the development of extensive peritonitis is presented. The data of surgical and traumatological operations and the results of treatment are presented. Conclusions. Posttraumatic peritonitis is one of the main causes of mortality in abdominal trauma. Accurate diagnosis, urgent laparotomy, relief of extensive peritonitis and drug treatment significantly increase patient survival.
