Problema enterostomelor în tratamentul complex al peritonitelor acute avansate la copii

Abstract

The problem of enterostomy in the complex treatment of severe acute peritonitis in children, is one of the most important and diffi cult problem of pediatric surgery in the present .When the resection of intestine is performed in conditions of peritonitis, enterostomy is indicated, because of the risk of insuffi ciency of anastomosis. The enterostoma permits the decompression of intestine, decreasing of endotoxicosis. In this article we present our own 5-year enterostomy experience. The most important particularities, causes, evolution and reconstruction of enterostomas in a total number of 41 patients operated in The National Center of Pediatric Surgery ,,Natalia Gheorghiu” are described.
