Effectiveness of preventive measures taken in recent years to combat viral hepatitis

Abstract

In the article the dynamics of morbidity of viral hepatitis A during 25 years, the morbidity index in the last years, preventive and antiepidemic measures and their contribution in reducing the morbidity from 204 – 205 at 100 000 people in 2002 – 2003 to 84 at 100000 people in 2004 are presented. In the last part of the article the preventive measures are presented, the implementing of which is necessary to maintain the morbidity at the reduced level of the morbidity index of viral hepatitis A.
