Determining parameters of the cognitive disorders of the elderly population

Alzheimer’s disease often is due with different pathologies, defining the syndrome pathologies. As precocious symptom was identifyed determined losing progress of short-term memory, as one symptom more tardive irreversible loss of long-term memory, with association with combination with other cognitive disorders (aphasia-apraxia-agnosia). Cognitive unsettles represents an increasing problem in geriatic assessment complex. On the basis of geriatic increasing of 100 elderly persons from rural and urban, at the age of 65-95 years, from different localities of Moldova, the majority of patients being from department of Geriatrics Clinical Hospital of Ministry Health. The patients were evaluated depending on the cognitive level damage. From majority of population prevails female gender from rural, older 75 years, having the average level of training and activating as workers. At elderly patients prevail the presence of relatives that suffers of diseases of the nervous, that denotes hereditary etiology, but risk factors: alcohol, nicotine, injuries, fatigue.
