Melanomul malign – aspecte clinice şi tratament
Abstract
Malignant melanoma is one of the most unpredictable and aggressive neoplasm of the skin. In the Republic of Moldova 70 to 80 cases of melanoma are registered every year. Given the great number of risk factors and a multitude of clinical forms, melanoma is diffi cult to diagnose, both clinically and morphologically. Clark’s tumor invasion level and Breslow’s tumor depth are both very important for the correct appreciation of tumor stage and treatment. Surgical treatment is unanimously considered the method of election in the treatment of malignant melanoma. Cryogenic destruction of the tumor prevents tumor cell dissemination during surgery. Results of radiotherapy vary depending on the irradiation technique and dose. Chemotherapy is used both as adjuvant and palliative treatment. Different methods of immunotherapy have very promising results.Downloads
