Abstract

The article is a review of the literature regarding the perioperatory prophylaxis of deep veins thrombosis and pulmonary embolism. Deep veins thrombosis and pulmonary embolism is a frequent complication at neurosurgical patients. The purpose of this work is to evaluate pre, intra and postoperatory assistance of this group of patients in the problem of DVT, PE diagnostics and prophylaxis.
