Aspects of oncological consultative medical assistance provided to the rural population of the Republic of Moldova

Abstract

In the Republic of Moldova the oncology diseases take one of the leading places in the structure
of recorded illnesses.
The mortality and invalidity from malignant tumors follows after cardiovascular pathologies. It
is evident, that curative-prophylactic measures of early diagnoses and combined complex treatment of
malignant tumors are directed to the increasing of patients surviving, to their social and professional
reintegration.
A tendency in increasing the oncological morbidity is registered to the rural population of the
country, that’s why both the consultative assistance and early diagnosis of cancer are performed at
the state level.
