Situația epidemiologică a tuberculozei în Republica Azerbaidjan.

Rezumat

The problem of tuberculosis is very relevant for Azerbaijan. In Azerbaijan, which is among the 30 countries with a high burden of MDR tuberculosis, tuberculosis activities are carried out under the leadership of the Tuberculosis Service of the Ministry of Health National in the frame of Tuberculosis Program. The main results achieved in the country were noted. Significantly increased the proportion of tuberculosis patients who can determine the drug susceptibility of the MBT to 70% in 2018. The treatment success rate for patients with MDR TB, who receive appropriate treatment since 2014 is approximately 60%. Since 2009, all patients with tuberculosis are being tested for HIV infection, and now significantly more HIV-infected patients are receiving appropriate treatment. Effective treatment of tuberculosis has been achieved: in 2018, the treatment success rate reached 84% (which is only 1% below the target for the European Region — 85%).
