Rezumat

Accidentul vascular cerebral (AVC) reprezintă o problemă majoră de sănătate publică atât la nivel mondial, cât și în Republica Moldova, unde incidența și mortalitatea au fost constant mai ridicate comparativ cu media europeană. Evoluția serviciului de asistență medicală al AVC în Republica Moldova reprezintă un exemplu de transformare sistemică, bazată pe colaborarea dintre clinicieni, cercetători, autorități și parteneri internaționali. Crearea rețelei naționale de centre AVC, creșterea semnificativă a ratelor de tromboliză și trombextracție, precum și reducerea timpilor critici de intervenție, reflectă premise de îmbunătățirea a prognosticului pacienților și de reducere a impactului socio-economic al acestei patologii devastatoare.
