Rezumat

Sindromul post-COVID-19 reprezintă o entitate clinică complexă, caracterizată prin persistența simptomelor la cel puțin două luni după infecția inițială cu SARS-CoV-2. Această afecțiune plurisistemică implică disfuncții respiratorii, cardiovasculare, neurologice și psihologice, generând un impact semnificativ asupra calității vieții pacienților. Articolul de față examinează mecanismele patogenetice implicate, incluzând dereglarea imună, persistența virală, disbioza intestinală și disfuncția endotelială. De asemenea, sunt prezentate modalitățile de diagnostic și evaluare a severității simptomatologiei, cu accent pe importanța testelor funcționale respiratorii, a evaluării capacității de efort și a calității vieții. Recuperarea respiratorie, ca piatră de temelie în managementul sindromului post-COVID-19, este detaliată, subliniind rolul antrenamentului fizic, al tehnicilor de respirație și al suportului multidisciplinar. În plus, sunt discutate aspecte specifice ale bolii pulmonare interstițiale post-COVID-19 (PC-ILD) și strategiile terapeutice aferente. Articolul evidențiază necesitatea unei abordări individualizate și a unei monitorizări atente a pacienților, pentru a optimiza rezultatele și a îmbunătăți prognosticul.
