The article evaluates echocardiographic indicators of secondary PAH in 37 children with chronic bronchopulmonary disease. The study group included: 22 children with CF and 15 children with other chronic bronchopulmonary diseases. Echocardiographic monitoring in children with CF revealed an increase in PSAP values compared to children with chronic bronchopulmonary disease. TVI was detected in both groups, denoting a secondary impairment of the right heart in bronchopulmonary diseases. Varicose and cylindrical bronchiectasis were more common in children with CF presented as chronic bronchopulmonary disease with severe disability.
