The majority of studies assess the traumas as the main causes of deaths in opulation under 50 years old, with polytraumas representing 20-25% of total trauma cases. The average age of patients with polytrauma is 34 years old, with 80% of the cases occurring in road accidents, including 60% taking placed in the evenings and at nights, hence the need for medical care delivery mostly by night shift services. The objective of the paper is two-fold: the selection of most suitable methods of etermining the polytrauma severity based on the comparative analysis of using the GCS, APACHE II, ISS Scores, as determining the effectiveness of using these in hospital care.
