In this article, we analyzed the specialized literature regarding the common causes of shoulder pain. The characteristics of both conservative and surgical treatments are presented. Shoulder pain can be caused by various conditions, such as traumatic injuries, tendinitis, impingement syndrome, and osteoarthritis. These conditions are often diagnosed based on clinical symptoms, and treatments are tailored according to the underlying cause. Among the most common causes of shoulder pain are trauma, congenital anomalies, joint degeneration, and inflammation. Particular attention is given to diagnostic methods, including imaging investigations and specific physical tests.
